“Asking government to fix government is like asking cancer to cure cancer”

"Asking government to fix government is like asking cancer to cure cancer” is a saying that has been printed on many images. “Unfortunately asking government to fix itself is a lot like asking cancer to cure itself” was posted on Facebook by Mastering the Light on August 30, 2012.

“Asking #government to fix government is like asking #cancer to cure cancer via @TFTPROJECT” (the saying is also shown on an image) was posted on Twitter by Kyle Ray Christerson on March 13, 2016. The original tweet is no longer available, but the meme probably originated with The Free Thought Project.

Unfortunately asking government to fix itself is a lot like asking cancer to cure itself. At the very least we must come to understand that we are not powerless and become responsible to speak and act in constructive ways.

It is up to us to fix the government the government is the problem it cant fix itself same with cancer we must find the cure but unlike cancer the government is week compared to us together we make the government powerful by not standing up to the big bully so we need to stand together and fight we together need to reach more people to make them know they arnt alone then once we are all together we will take this further than just talking about it but we need to get the word out there
