“Dim sum implies the existence of dim min, max, and average”

Dim sum (a large range of small Chinese dishes) has nothing to do with a mathematical “sum,” but there are jokes.

“DIM SUM! (bright difference?)” was posted on Twitter by Ray L on December 19, 2009. “The opposite of the Chinese cuisine ‘Dim Sum’ is ‘Bright Difference’” was posted on Twitter by Poppa Appa on October 13, 2013. “The existence of Dim Sum implies the existence of Bright Difference” was posted on Twitter by Joe Weller on March 7, 2021.

“the existence of dim sum implies the existence of dim difference, dim product, dim multiple, dim exponent, dim root, dim log, dim inverse log, dim ln, dim inverse ln, dim absolute value, dim integral, dim composite, dim limit, dim sine, dim cosine, dim tangent, dim secant, dim co” was posted on Twitter by rose on September 15, 2019. “The existence of dim sum implies the existence of dim min, max, and average” was posted on Twitter by Iqbal Farabi on January 24, 2022.

Wikipedia: Dim sum
Dim sum (traditional Chinese: 點心; simplified Chinese: 点心; pinyin: diǎnxīn; Cantonese Yale: dím sām) is a large range of small Chinese dishes that are traditionally enjoyed in restaurants for brunch. Most modern dim sum dishes originated in China and are commonly associated with Cantonese cuisine, although dim sum dishes also exist in other Chinese cuisines. In the tenth century, when the city of Guangzhou (Canton) began to experience an increase in commercial travel, many frequented teahouses for small-portion meals with tea called yum cha, or “drink tea” meals.
