The saying went viral in 2019. “Remember to poop before midnight tonight. You don’t want to be carrying the same shit into the new decade” was posted on Reddit—Jokes on December 31, 2019.
“Remember to poop before midnight tonight. You don’t want to be carrying the same shit into the new year” was posted on Twitter by LM on December 31, 2020.
“People who haven’t pooped yet today, why are you still holding on to last year’s shit?” is a related saying for January 1st.
