“Can we eliminate clickbait journalism? The answer may surprise you”

News teasers often present a little bit of the story with a question, and then state, “The answer may surprise you.”  “How Many Clickbait Emoporn Headlines Will It Take To Ruin The Entire Internet? The Answer Will Surprise You” was posted on Twitter on November 19, 2013. “Are we as a society going to reject clickbait journalism? The answer may surprise you!” was posted on Reddit on July 30, 2016.

“Can a news story electrocute somebody? The answer may shock you” is a joke on a similar line.
