The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) is a channel that is available on some cable systems in the United States. The CBC has been given the backronym (back acronym) of “Canadian Bullshit Corporation” since at least 1998 by those who believe that the CBC broadcasts propaganda.
 
“British Bullshit Corporation” (for the British Broadcasting Corporation, or BBC) is a similar nickname. The CBC has also been called the “Canadian Brainwashing Corporation” and the “Communist Broadcasting Corporation.”

Although some local stations in Canada predate CBC’s founding, CBC is the oldest existing broadcasting network in Canada, first established in its present form on November 2, 1936.

It’s a very dangerous situation. No government in a democracy should sit by and allow a public Broadcast system to skew the facts to manipulate opinion.
This is shades of Pravda.
We should be taking these complaints to our government and demand action. It’s our money at work and it’s working against us.
