“Clowndidate” (clown + candidate) is a term used by those who believe that a candidate running for office is a clown (or fool).  The term “clowndidate” has been cited in print since at least September 2003.
 
Similar terms include “clowncil” (clown + council), “clowngress” (clown + Congress) and “clownigarch” (clown + oligarch).

no lie, Putin makes all of our candidates look like clowns. He may be crazy but, where’s the presidential clowndidates who exist in reality?

Well written Tommy. Every single thing you mentioned has been brought to the forefront ever since the last election when we got the second go-round of the clown. THERE was not then a viable candidate just as there is not one now. We are voting for the clowndidate that will do the least amount of damage to the American way of life.
