“Cooking is love made visible”

“Cooking is love made visible” has been used on many gift items. “Work is love made visible” is a saying popularized in The Prophet (1923) by Kahlil Gibran.

“Cooking is love made visible” has been cited in print since at least 2001.

I saw a great one on another thread from Kim (I forget the rest of her signon name): “Cooking is love made visible”

3 February 2010, Kansas City (MO) Star, “At the end of the season, chops make a super grill” by Mary G. Pepitone, pg. E2:
I have a sign on the wall of my kitchen that says, “Cooking is love made visible,” and that pretty much sums it up for me.
