Fedzilla (federal government + Godzilla)

“Fedzilla” (federal + Godzilla) is a term for an out-of-control, monster big government. American hard rock musician and conservative critic Ted Nugent has used the name “Fedzilla” frequently since at least July 2008. “Fedzilla” gained increasing usage following the November 2008 presidential election of Barack Obama.
‘Fedzilla” has also been used to describe the Federal Reserve (“the Fed”) banking system, with this usage cited in print since at least February 2009.

Guitar Player Economics 101
by Ted Nugent
A major reason for this tremendous prosperity over the last 25 years is largely attributed to tax cuts, which Senator Obama wants to rescind and reverse. Instead of continuing with this historic growth by continuing President Bush’s tax cuts or even providing more economic stimulus by lowering taxes even further and reducing the size of the federal government (which I refer to as Fedzilla), Senator Obama wants to feed Fedzilla by raising taxes. This is simply weird and dangerous.
Warning: Do not feed Fedzilla. It is a pig.

Of all the Republicans and Democrats who ran for President in 2007-2008, only one, Congressman Ron Paul of Texas, understood the relationship between our Federal Reserve (“Fedzilla,” as some call it) money system and America’s financial crisis.
Moore, Nugent, Wilson sound off on Detroit
Saturday, April 04, 2009
By MIKE HOUSEHOLDER, Associated Press Writer
Nugent, the wildman rocker and outdoor enthusiast known as the “Motor City Madman,” is far to the right of Moore on the political spectrum and doesn’t see government intervention in autos as a particularly good thing.
“Left to their own accord and entrepreneurial enterprise, I am confident the U.S. auto industry would have outperformed all others. ... Now that Fedzilla has had the audacity to turn up the havoc-wreaking, criminally violating the U.S. Constitution and all parameters of logic and decency, it appears the death knell has sounded. It breaks my Motor City heart,” he said.

In the absence of any real border enforcement by Fedzilla and after the emergency of the recent murder of rancher Robert Krentz, Arizonans rightfully took matters into their own hands and passed a law allowing Arizona cops to demand immigration papers from people they stop.
