FoHi (Forest Hills)

Forest Hills is a residential neighborhood in Queens that has neither a forest (although there are many tree-lined areas) nor hills. Real estate abbreviation reached Forest Hills by at least 2006, when “FoHi” began to be used.

So after all the hub-bub, and the planning for our first real venture into apartment hunting, we set our sights on Forest Hills, or “Fohi” as the kids are calling it these days.
