The saying went viral in June 2018. “How hot is it in Alabama? Crack heads are putting copper back in the AC units” was posted on Twitter by Cord on June 21, 2018. “It’s so hot outside the crackheads are putting copper back into AC units” was posted on Twitter by Hunter Broome on June 21, 2018. “It’s so hot that crackheads are putting the copper back in the A.C. Units” was posted on Twitter by Sergio Perez on June 22, 2018.
