It’s an old joke that people who reach for a pint of Haagen-Dazs or Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and eat the whole pint—all at once, straight from the container—have some problems in their lives that drove them to consume the comfort food. “Never ask a woman who is eating ice cream straight from the carton how she’s doing” was cited in Twitter on March 2, 2015. The joke quickly became the subject of many tweets.
