“Why are doctors so afraid of apples, anyway?”

“Why are doctors afraid of apples?” was cited on Twitter on April 21, 2009. The joke went viral in 2012.

“An apple a day keeps the doctor away. But if the doctor is cute, forget the fruit” is another joke on the old adage.
